A hallmark of the secondary school experience, the school provides students with a yearlong, intensive opportunity to research a topic of local and global significance and ultimately present their findings to the Ayegun community. The system is designed to encourage students’ greater understanding of the wide-ranging impact of their subject, both in their local communities and on a global scale.

Welcome to Crown Grammar School!
We are delighted you are considering a Crown education for your child and look forward to partnering with you through the admission process. Educating students from preschool through SSS grade, Crown is a school for the whole family as children grow and develop throughout their earliest educational experiences. While our JSS students explore their natural curiosity in a hands-on early secondary education environment, our Senior Secondary through third grade students develop a love for learning through small class sizes and nurturing teachers. During SSS school, our third through SSCE/NECO students are supported through their adolescent years as they learn critical tools of self-advocacy, responsibility, and strength of voice.
Crown Grammar School is a small school with a big heart. Families choose Woodland because they feel connected to our core values of curiosity, resilience, integrity, equity, respect, and stewardship, which are reflected in our curriculum, classrooms, and our grounded and inclusive community.
Each year we are offering multiple opportunities for your family to engage with us, both virtually and in person. Each admission event is curated to share different aspects of our programme and I encourage you to attend as many events as you would like. A member of our parent community (PTA) will reach out to you following each of our events so that you have an opportunity to get to know us. Crown Grammar School is an independent, co-educational boarding and day school for students who learn differently. Crown strives to ensure each student aspires to higher educational opportunities and independent life.
CGS Mission: Crown Grammar School is committed to developing students of impeccable character who embrace a passion for learning by gaining a solid foundation of knowledge through a rigorous, classical curriculum. Utilizing the Socratic method of instruction, students are empowered to think critically, work collaboratively, and prepare for lifelong learning.

Crown Grammar School Ibadan was accredited on 30 June 2014 by the Ministry of Education. Crown quickly developed into a school serving students who struggled in traditional learning environments and benefit from teachers that understand they serve students who learn differently. Crown Grammar School was accredited by the Ministry of Education.
