A robust professional development programme supports our faculty by introducing them to the latest knowledge and best practice in pedagogy, curriculum development, educational technology, and student assessment.

A School For the Whole Family
With a large number of dual working-parent households in our community, we recognize that balancing work and family can be daunting. We try to partner as best we can with our community to help make managing schedules a little easier.
Crown Grammar School is a vibrant and active place before and after school with extended care options beginning as early as 7:30 a.m. and extending until 4 p.m. Our After School Programme offers over various enrichment classes—ranging from JSS classes to SSS classes.
Our team of teachers and administrators are accessible and value the parent-school partnership it takes to be successful.

Located at Olomi-Ayegun Road, Ayegun Ibadan. Crown Grammar School represents the rich blend of backgrounds, traditions, and cultures we appreciate about the Area. Our families, teachers, and trustees come from a wide variety of racial, ethnic, religious, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds and family configurations. Over half of our families have at least one member of the family born outside the Ibadan, representing different tribes. These differences enrich our environment in countless ways, but it's what our families have in common that is perhaps more vital: they place a high priority on education, embrace the strength of a diverse community, and believe in instilling a core set of values in their children.

Student leaders abound in every classroom, hallway, and performance venue on campus. Leading by example means showing others that choosing to do the right thing is the Spartan norm. In both small and large group settings, students step up to the responsibility at hand. In doing so, they set the expectation for themselves and others that words and actions hold consequence. The unique campus atmosphere generated by Senior School students is not easily described or replicated. Those who experience it just know it.

Student Services
Crown Grammar School is built upon a foundation of helping students reach their full potential in a supportive and rigorous learning environment. Our commitment to helping every student succeed is further strengthened by our cutting-edge Student Services team. Led by dedicated and experienced learning specialists and counsellors, the team recognizes the needs of the whole child by offering social-emotional support as well as academic enrichment and remediation.
Counselors
Crown Grammar School’s counsellors assist students with personal issues and social concerns in a safe, confidential environment where students experience growth and healing by learning and practicing healthy and appropriate problem-solving skills. Counsellors work with individuals, small groups, and classes to address the specific needs of the students. To promote citizenship and personal development, counsellors implement the Character Foundations programme to students in all divisions. Our counsellors work closely with teachers to ensure students who have identified learning differences receive classroom accommodations as needed. Referrals are made through the counselling office for additional support services such as individual counselling, psychoeducational testing, speech, or specialized tutoring.
